Howie Day EP out now

Live From... New EP in stores December 13th

Howie's new EP, "Live From...", came out. If you're not yet familiar with it, the EP is a compilation of live tracks from this past summer's tour. It sounds really great, and I would recommend picking up a copy.

Since Howie won't be touring for the next few months, Pick up the EP and find out what one of the shows are like.
As soon as he does start touring I'll keep you posted on air and here on the blog as to where he'll be.

btw, you can click on the picture above to visit the Howie Day Website.

My 3 Songs 12/14/05

Well here we go again another My 3 songs.
This one was suggested by a listener and he got a free pizza for the great idea.
Here are the songs:

  1. My Generation - The Who
  2. Sussudio - Phil Collins
  3. Bad To the Bone - George Thorogood.
Would you like the answer? Okay, but first let me explain the smiley you see at the right. This is the Bon Jovi "Have a Nice Day" smily/smirk. It has absolutely nothing to do with tonight's contest, I just like the idea behind the smiley and the song just proves that Bon Jovi are still rocking. Plus, I dig a little sarcasm, okay a lot of sarcasm.

Okay now for the answer....the songs all have some sort of stuttering going on.
So stuttering is the answer.

Chaston/Groditski

Okay...the weirdness has been unleashed. My friend, Pete Chaston, and his cousin Walt Groditski have been recording some of the weirdest sounding stuff for a few years and, well, let's just say the last time this was unleashed on the Earth a meteor struck. Anyhow, it is extremely fun music. They have a Dr. Demento holiday favorite with "We Burned the Christmas Tree" and that song was recently like the #4 most downloaded song on amazon.com. Thus proving that the world is just like me, getting weirder with age.
Honestly you must have all their cd's in your collection, they are fun at parties and great ways to get rid of those in-laws.
